Oh yeah! Bought it anyway! And our friend had two copies of the collector's edition! Woot! What's so lawltastic about that is my dad bought a copy and had been intending on playing the game, but does not have the collector's edition.

I'm installing now. I have to reload the whole game because my hard drive crashed this summer, but what better time. The best part about it is that I sent my husband a scroll of resurrection and got a free month from him renewing his account. Woo!

So time to wait for this download to finish. I'm at 3% 607 MB/6.5 GB.

I'm trying to get all of the guild info added back like ventrillo. And trying to figure out where the laptop fits into all of this. Will I put vent on my laptop or desktop? Will I hook my headset into the laptop or desktop? Such decisions weigh heavy upon me.

Also I get to use my netspeak more. Like L-O-L. And "Let's gank 'em."

I haven't gotten my copy yet. Freaking UPS screwed up and apparently went to the wrong house, so they're delivering it tomorrow instead. D: I just hope it works with my crappy video card lmao.

My friend bought a copy, put it in his computer only to discover he didn't have a DVD rom drive. He had to go out to the store and buy a new DVD rom drive. lol

HAHAHAHA I swear, I might actually do that if it doesn't work and I can figure out what a decent, cheap upgrade would be. My video card is seriously craptastic. I hear as long as BC ran WOTLK should run, though, so fingers crossed.

P.S. And yes, I am. I have a lower leveled horde on that one too, though. XD

Guess this means I'm going to have to make new WoW icons. I feel so naked without them! XD

Well hopefully your video card will work. They do tend to keep things fairly the same so as not to lose too many accounts in the transition.

I have a few lower level characters scattered across the realms, but none on Bronzebeard.

I am thinking my graphics won't be as fancy, but I don't really mind that too much, tbh. As long as I can play and raid, I'm good.

Those people didn't sleep all day. They were in my 1st guild...er at least we had people back when TBC came out that leveled insanely like that.

I am looking forward to being in my chill guild. We may not see content super fast but I won't feel like I need to grind like a crazy person to get good gear to start hitting the raids.

Unlike our guild that is currently racing to 80 and wanting to push into raid content ASAP. I want to take my time and enjoy it, but we'll see. Matt is very competitive. XD

There is some netspeak that seems to originate from WoW which I HATE. A couple are "lal" (um. If you really want to write it, it's "lol"?) and... there are more but I forgot because thankfully I haven't played it for almost a year. XD

I got Kim an Xbox for his birthday so thankfully he doesn't want it either!

That's why I love netspeak. It's so silly and pointless. Lal? Really? I like it spelled this way though: lawl. Gives it an extra syllable almost.

We've been out for a year as well. We technically quit in February, but we stopped doing anything in the game around December last year. Which is totally weird to think I spent most of 08 not playing WoW! Weird in a fantastic way.

The bad part about getting WoW is that we just got Fable II. XD

We are still alliance on Zangermarsh. Ryoku and Thadeious. I'm glad you caved. Maybe you can at least enjoy leveling to 80. I'm trying but my husband the rl is pushing pretty hard to get to new content. I'd rather take my time.

Hehe Thanks! Druids have changed so much and yet nothing ever changes in WoW.

I'll have to keep Zangermarsh in mind for in our off, off time. As usual. We're not pushing, but we're not exactly wandering around taking our time. Our friend said that she'd do whatever the group wanted with her main and take her time with an alt. That makes sense.
