Fourth of July - worked. It was boringly slow, but in a good way. The day went fast. It got cloudy after work and then rainy. No fireworks, probably and we didn't do anything even though Matt wanted to get out of the house. As suspected, it was quiet on the RP front as well.
On my way to work today, I saw an injured dog and couldn't just drive on by. So I stopped, it came over and got in the car so we went back home. Where I have 4 dogs. I called all of the vet clinics in Oak Ridge and none of them had the dog's rabies tag registered. It appears to have old injuries to it. It wasn't wandering the best neighborhood either so its owners may have got tired of it and just let it go. My husband suspects this so we are going to wait to contact the owners before going to the vet (since no bleeding or sore spots) for fear the vet may say it needs to be put down.
So we have an older pit bull mix in our house penned up in the computer room. Then came into work 1 1/2 hours late.
I hope this days is over soon. Then dinner out and Hancock!

Date: 2008-07-05 08:11 pm (UTC)Man! I hate the ones that run away when you try to help them. However, that would be 3 out of 4 of our dogs. Well the GSD might run up to someone. Maybe.
