(ETA No spoilers, as always, just general vagueness.)
I saw Prince Caspian after work with a co-worker. She really enjoyed it. I thought it was mediocre. A lot of the action scenes were improbable. Not in an impossible feat of agility. I'm fine with magical agility. I don't buy that a 15 year old girl can whack a career soldier in the face with a bow and knock him out. Also the plot was lacking. Obviously all the stops were taken out for the last movie and it is tough to compete with that plot, but this one hardly seemed to try. Or rather it seemed as though there was too much going on to really focus on any sort of character development. In the end, this resulted in an apathy to the Narnian predicament. Still it was worth going to see.

Otherwise, I'm feeling a little down and a lot annoyed with myself. Oddly it wasn't a bad day and I didn't commit any horrible faux pas. I think I am suffering from too much introspect and possibly high standards that I can't meet. I'm attempting to turn over a new leaf though which means that giving up because I have decided that I have ridiculously high standards is not an option. Just have to keep truckin!

ETA I really liked the Regina Spektor song, The Call, at the end of the movie; however, ITunes doesn't offer it as a stand alone download. You have to buy the album. So now I have to buy it on Napster, burn it to CD and then import it to ITunes.
