FF7?

Yes I am a bigger 8 fan, simply because I played that one. I didn't have the chance to play 7 so... But I did enjoy Advent Children. And what I do know of 7, I find simply engaging! I'm just loyal to what I know, I guess.

So I bought some birthday cards while in Florida and with a purchase of a card, I got a free ITunes download. I was on Itunes today trying to figure out what I wanted to buy. (Which reminds me that I need to hurry up and buy Tobymac tickets if I want to go!) A lot of the songs I like are either... an entire CD or not released. So I went with the obscure songs that I normally wouldn't waste my money on. I bought 3 DDR songs. I know! But these are ones I haven't been able to find elsewhere. System F, Neuropa and Scotty D songs. System F usually doesn't let me down. Well I found myself on Utada's CD. She sings Passion or Sanctuary depending on what version of KH2 you played. I liked a song, but I found several that I liked so I may wait until another gift card or something. Then I found my way onto Final Fantasy soundtracks. And I read this sweet review that Aerith's theme was the only theme that made them cry. Awww.

I had no idea some of the backstory for the game. Thanks to Julie for having a link to it in her entry today!

So... I'm stumped on these fan letters I want to send out. I've never actually written fanmail. So actually reaching and saying "Thanks 4 being so awesome!" in words is becoming quite a difficult task. I find myself rambling and being sarcastic funny (which never comes across well in written word--something I never quite learn and always try to incorporate into my LJ entries and FAIL every time doing). I wanted to get these out today. Obviously the sooner I mail them out, the sooner they can sit in PO Boxes, then read, enjoyed and hopefully be sent back soon.

Guess I'd better head on to work

PS I need a new icon. DuCaine is nice and all, but... I'm not really in a DuCaine mood lately. I've heard some spoilers that have put me off. Again.

Also I'm not so excited with what is going on with Eureka. They jumped the shark, I think, with the finale. Mostly they gave the ending that everyone wanted to see and now they are saying that since time has now changed, that ending cannot happen. And rather than making me hope that things will work out well, it has me depressed that things will never end that way.

Dudes should totally play seven. :D But don't touch the compilation because it burns, for the most part! That link was a fun little summary. There's more to it, but it's a good overview -- and watching 'em sequentially is really interesting. Oh, Final Fantasy.

Well I watched the little summary thing that came with Advent Children. And I've thoroughly enjoyed Advent Children. I just don't have time to finish Kingdom Hearts, start KH2, much less play a game that I have a general idea on. Sigh! Such a sad reality. ;D

Eureka was fun last season, though I didn't watch all of the episodes. Which is funny because *I* was the one who wanted to watch it, but my husband ended up watching every episode instead of me. The new season makes me sad and emo. Like Cloud. And Squall. "..."

Stupid Advent Children. Cloud isn't emo! He isn't at all! He says things like, "Let's mosey."

The character designer who ended up directing the movie or whatever admitted to having changed his character, basically to make him fit the movie.

I thought the emo Cloud part was a bit difficult to follow, but I also figured they were trying to turn him into Squall. I'd love to see an FF8 movie, but just based on the game itself. Cuz... I'm lame like that. Besides they never said that Squall = Laguna's son!!!!!!1one
