basildestinyWell it's not JACK Shephard. It's JOHN Sheppard, but it's close enough, isn't it? Well Shep does have better hair than Jack, but let's not hold that against Jack.
So we're all caught up. Just watched the last episode. Kind of a lame ending after watching anextreme EXTREME marathon. It just ends with some lame future episode of "We have to go back, Kate?" Are you serious? And what? Charlie the hobbit can't swim out of the window? And he needed to close the hatch door because... the scary SCUBA equipment might have conked him in the head? What's the point of drowning when you find out that boat ISN'T the rescue boat? It's all redundant, of course, because it was the island that decided.
How weird is it that Kate prompts Cassidy to send Sawyer to jail? Or that brother and sister Shephard children are on the same flight? And just how many problems has the island solved? Boone gets over Shannon. Shannon finally falls in love and is useful. Sawyer gets to read his letter. Sun and Jin reconcile. I know, I know, it also causes huge problem, but at least John Locke can walk, right?
So the big questions are who is on that boat? And who answered the phone when Jack called Kate? And whose funeral was it? And why was Jack pretending that his dad was still alive? And just who is Jacob?
Walt appearing isn't anything unexpected. We already know that he has some apparitional power. And I'd already called Roger "Work Man." I liked Hurley saving the day. That was nice. The guy needed to finally have his day.
And I'm really digging the Saywer/Kate Gambit/Rogue similarities. Nice touches indeed. Not so hot on the whole Jack is still in love with Kate thing. Cause honestly that's boring. I don't mind it creating angst between Sawyer and Kate, but in the end, and we've seen the end, she can't chose him. I just don't like him pining after her. I know he can't let things go, but just bleah.
So we're all caught up. I can "conspiracy" theorize with anyone now. Too bad no one on the ol' F-list is up for debating N E more. ;D
In other news, I was finally accepted into the DuCaine Yahoo group so woot! Also my DuCaine fic that I've been writing while watching Lost has turned into DuCaine angst with CaKe fluff. And sorry to those of you who have no idea what I'm talkin' 'bout (which is all of my Flist, roflz)
