Pictures!!
Thursday, December 21st, 2006 11:38 pmWell here's some pictures of my Christmas present! I got this one today.
I got Kira's brother! The breeder contacted me on Wednesday. I had emailed her months ago before we got Tucker to see about getting a merle Cardigan. I've always wanted one. She said they had one they were going to give up. But after a month went by without hearing from her, I started liking the idea of a Pembroke and researched and fell in love with Tucker's breeder. I just loved how they raised their puppies. Then he was available and available and available and we were looking at passing on him and waiting another 2 months for the next litter. Then I thought, well let's just go look at their puppies. But, of course, Matt says if we're going to look we might as well get him. He's not a good window shopper. Which is awesome. I mean one of the reasons I married him was because he wanted to have a herd of German Shepherds. That fit right in with what I wanted to do as far as having a farm full of dogs. So we get Tucker, of course. And he's just the sweetest dog ever. It took a while for him to really grow on me, but he's definitely my sweet, sweet baby. I love him.
Well Wednesday, Kira's breeder contacts me. She attaches two pictures of Kira's brother and offers him to me. I thought there was no way we'd get this dog. But I just had to ask just one time. I figured Matt would say "No way. We already have two dogs. We don't need three." But he said "You should get him." So we did.
