Steve Irwin is really dead. It wasn't a poisonous snake bite or a deadly crocodile. He was killed by a freaking stingray tail through the chest! And Terri wasn't even there! She hasn't been told yet because she's trekking in the mountains.
This is very very sad. I can't believe it's true.
No more Croc Hunter. His dad outlived both his wife and his son. :( :(
I'm going to miss you, Steve.

Date: 2006-09-05 04:17 pm (UTC)Really I did. My freaking husband laughed like a freak - then said "Ha ha, there is a God!" When I asked what happened he told me that he had died.
-_-
I was super offended and upset...which he realized when I started to sniffle a little. But you were right up among the first people I thought of, Bas...especially among those who'd understand. :3 I found this as well:

Date: 2006-09-05 04:33 pm (UTC)I spent Labor Day trying not to cry because I was around the inlaws and my brother and his friends. I woke my husband up to tell him and thought I was kidding. Then the next day, he made a few jokes about it. I admit it is a weird way to go, but I love... I loffed the Croc Hunter! At the inlaw's there was a news report about the man and that's when I nearly lost it. Which it is entirely too silly that I haven't actually cried for Steve Irwin!
Thanks for thinking about me! I definitely understand. I know he loved hedgehogs too.
