A ringtone?

I was sitting here at my desk. I heard a cell phone ringtone go off. It sounded to me like the Harry Potter introduction music. I know it wasn't, but for one small moment in time, I thought... It could be Harry Potter!

And I was inundated by thoughts of Evan Rosier and Gilderoy Lockhart. Death Eaters and Dumbledore. Horrible French accents and hairy gaints. Unicorns and centaurs.

And I was inspired to make a Maile-esque post.

There's something refreshing about childlike faith.

Maybe it was Harry. I mean, maybe he works undercover and has to keep around one of those Muggle phone things.

I'd like to imagine it was Gilderoy Lockhart, released from the hospital, not so wiser for the wear, and ego not deflated, but no real, workable knowledge of magic. Except maybe Apparition. And he's using "Harry's" theme because ... I don't know. I'm drawing a blank on that one.

I just don't see Harry actually using that as his ringtone. He's had something less classical sounding. Not quite "Classic" Wizard rock, not quite Wizard Pop. Maybe Emo Wizard Rock maybe something psuedo Punk.

lol This is true. Harry would be my age in 2006. Well he wouldn't be 26 yet, but almost.

Maybe at age 26 (taking for granted that he lives again) he'll be more refined. But I'm thinking either Harrys wouldn't use that as their ringtone.

It could have been. Though we only have 1 Samsung and I don't know if we have any of those test phones. I think it was the audiovox. Which really doesn't sound like Harry Potter unless you are far, far away or there is a lot of background noise.
