Don't let the blue eyes fool you...
Thursday, April 6th, 2006 09:58 pmWrite a blog entry about 6 weird habits/things about you. Optional: Tag 6 people to answer this.
1. I almost have minor Trichotillomania. I had no idea there was a name for this until I read this meme on someone else's journal. Almost because it's not a compulsion, just something I like to do from time to time. Mostly I like twirling my hair.
2. I like to have order. As in I like things to have their place and to be in their place. I have disgressed in the past couple of years so I am no longer at the OCD level with this. Not that I ever attacked someone who moved my stuff. I still suffer from feeling disoriented when things are out of place.
3. I don't like holding a grudge and usually end up forgiving people without an apology. Some people might say this is kindness, but it feels like a weakness.
I'm drawing a blank on weirdnesses. Dang!
Well I would say the reason I'm distracted is two-fold. First of all, I find my husband quite attractive and distracting when I randomly see him.
Secondly is because I decided that I missed hearing Morrissey and I wanted to import him to the good ol' I-pod. Well First of the Gang to Die is so happy for being so macabre. I really really enjoy Morrissey's voice. It's just that classic sound that's so rich and emotion-filled.
Few things bring a smile to my face like listening to Morrissey. I really wanted to see the man perform, but I was unemployed and then he was in Nasheville during my first few weeks of employment in which I had no days off to go see him. *cry, cry*
So here I sit at work, grinning like a fool because I adore Morrissey.
And because I have a hot husband.
Last night I was watching the special features on Howl's Moving Castle and I saw a surprise visit to John Lassitter of Pixar by Hayoa Miyazaki. He totally fanboyed just like I would have fangirled. I felt myself giving him slightly more than I had when he appeared to introduce Spirited Away.
I've also found two words that make my dog crazy. She'll jump on you if you say outside, obviously. But if you say "Riker" or "Miyazaki," she'll pounce you. We were watching tv and she was sitting on the foot rest. I said "Miyazaki" and she jumped on my stomach trying to get in my face. It was funny apart from having the air knocked out of me.
And this morning, Riker decided he wanted to snuggle. He ended up snuggling me off the bed. Mean dog. lol
You're not right in the head, And nor am I. This is why I like you.

Date: 2006-04-07 02:07 am (UTC)And my dog, who is a 15 lb. miniature schnauzer takes up my parents king size bed to the point where there's little room for them. We still don't know how she does it!

Date: 2006-04-07 02:39 am (UTC)That's so cute! My dog likes to make herself a scarf for my parents. Or a parrot, depending on her mood, I guess. She perches herself in some *odd* positions.
