Why does it feel like Monday?

basildestinyMonday went really well. But now it's Tuesday and it's just a crankyk day. I know that I've just personified a day and given it a personality, but I'm just going to go with it.
Reading over some journals, people get all upset over the strangest things. But I already knew that. Most people don't value diversity and don't like for people to hold a differing opinion.
I am exhausted! I cleaned the house a little bit yesterday and managed a little Christmas shopping! (Thanks for the Christmas card "You-Know-Who") But I didn't realize just how much I had exerted myself yesterday until 3:30 am rolled around and I could barely move! I'm usually up until 4 or 5 am. Being a night owl does suck, but it's what I am.
I was also reading about the public outcry against Tookie Williams' execution. I'm really confused by it all. Advocates say one thing and then do another. It's all so controversial because everyone wants to be the ultra enlightened and uber open minded person.
Personally do I have an opinion about it? Yes and no. Not right now. I'm too tired.
I just got my name tag with my new name on it! I am officially White now. Not that I wasn't already. I need to get my ssn card and my driver's liscense changed.
We arrived at a big decision yesterday. We're going to postpone our Hawaii trip by a year. Which means full steam ahead for Las Vegas this year? I don't know, but I know we both want to go. We have decided that we're just going to save this year for Hawaii and finish paying off some debts. Maybe we'll go to school. But the big news is that I'm going to get my puppy! YAY! I can get my puppy any time I like. Except that the home isn't puppy proofed at all.

Date: 2005-12-14 12:14 am (UTC)I discovered two bad things about pictures. 1) I found pictures developped when our photographer developped the prints initially that did not make it on our CDs. 2) Our negatives were thrown out!!!!!!!!!!!! But we have 150 or so mb of pictures. We haven't finished uploading. Thanks for reminding me though. I had forgotten that friends on LJ want to see too.
