Blunders, sunders, and funders!

basildestinyI was sitting in my house on Monday in the living room. In front of the computer, just after my shower, wearing nothing worth mentioning. I was just getting myself ready to get ready for work. So there I was slouching in front of the computer, nearly naked and in walks my landlord who lives next door! He comes in through the back door and is walking right toward me from the back of the house. He hears the music coming from the laptop and realizes that someone was in the house. He saw me before I said anything and made a quick retreat, I'd imagine in the hopes that I hadn't seen him. LOL I don't know which of us was more embarrassed. I would say probably him. My mom had told him she was going to be gone this week for her business trip. I think he was coming to work on something or other. Who knows. It's very like my mom to forget to tell me something.
My health is broken. My throat was feeling a bit scratchy earlier. I've been feeling listless and tired. And my nose has been runny. It's amazing how feeling a little seperation anxiety can really get your health out of whack. I need to keep my mood up so that my immune system can get a boost.
As far as wedding funds, I finally got the check from my dad. So we can stop the searching of the mail! yay! I just need to deposit it into my account.
We're decorating our desks at work. It can't Halloween per se unless it ties into the values and behaviors of the company. Yes, there are a list of both of these. We're focusing on the behavior of "Motivates by values, not fear." We're focusing on the fear side and saying that's NOT how we motivate. It all has a very elementary school/high school play feel to it, but that's really how we are here. Sometimes. It's our goal anyway. It's just a shame that venting has been removed from anything we would do. So it sneaks in as sarcasm which eventually leads to negativity. And negativity is something to be avoided. For it is bad, bad, bad, BAD! Naughty, bad. Zoot! Sir Galahad!

Gosh Michael Palin is so cute in that movie. We bought it on DVD and now we know all the words to the Knights of the Round Table.

Well now that you've seen everyone's favorite, The Holy Grail. It's time to move on to the next one... no wait, you probably shouldn't watch it with your brother yet. But The Meaning of Life is the next one. Probably some songs in that one you shouldn't sing with him. But... after all, it is all in the name of education and religion!
I thought the landlord story was too funny to go untold. I forgot to mention that the guy is 80 something years old!
