The toxicity of our city, of our city!
Thursday, November 11th, 2004 01:41 amTwo more things which must be said before I can get any rest.
First thing is that without the logical, thoughtful, wise planners this country would be pointless. Any country would be pointless. Pointless and lost. Without warriors to defend the peaceful thinkers, this country would be lost. We need each other. Songs of peace, people living together in harmony, shows depicting this--it will never happen. We'll always need the warrior and we'll always need the thinkers. Is it possible to be both?
Not only that, but people all over are biggotted, biased, and opinionated. I just read an article that in Australia some four years ago, some army recruits dressed as KKK members to frighten the Aborignee recruits. Sometimes life is just hard.
The second thing is that when I am not at work, I find myself without a purpose. I'm completely useless.
I feel I should move because it is a hopeless cause to think I can find someone liberal enough for me, but then I feel that my state needs me.
