Some thoughts after training
Monday, September 13th, 2004 05:56 pmI walked into the door and my mom said she was going walking, did I want to go? I said ok, let me change. Went to change, phone rang, and now we're in a holding pattern for her to get off the phone. So here's my random thoughts after work. Expect a detailed entry about my thoughts on the place later.Written 5:15 pm, transcribed 6 pm
First day of work and I didn't freak out. It's an amazing place to be. I can't wait to get back on the phones. I've already changed my perception in many ways and several times. It's all good things. Of course CSI: Miami was on my mind because it is my blueprint for behavior. I've found that I'm enjoying ingraiating myself with my new co-workers and building a network of connections. The group of people I'm in training with are all about opportunities. I think, though, that this company has many checks in place to avoid having an abuse of power. CD Player just started my Horatio is about to be on the tv song! I wish the MIA NYC Nonstop episode was airing tonight. I love that scene in his car. I've been recently very frustrated with my livejournal. I've been censoring myself because I don't want people tothink misinterpret my rants about CSI: Miami. But it doesn't matter what you think about them. It's something I'm enjoying talking about. I write about things that I feel passionately about that aren't industry specific. I could rant all day about DSL, but
lync,
elusive_goalie,
scarah,
fogg_1966 are probably going to be the only ones to understand any of it. Whereas if you read my Miami rants, they tend to be about human nature. You can relate to that or you could at least laugh at me. Either way, I'm going to stop giving myself a headache about it. Criticism has never bothered me. I shouldn't let it start.
Show me how to live and promise me you won't forsake.
