My mom said there was a plot twist, but it wasn't much of one. You could easily see it coming. Thankfully there was a lot of Fade to black which would have just added more unnecessary time to the movie if we'd been forced to see the scenes played out. James Marsden was adorable. Malin Akerman was forgetable in her Cameron Diaz role. Katherine Heigl played a character much like myself or someone I've been in the past. Meaning that I was extra harsh on her, wanting her to develop in ways impossible for her character to grow. It was a bummer that we missed out on a lot of development in the gap between the last two scenes. Not that I was particularly interested in having the movie run longer though.
I say it was better than that CSI Miami finale, but my husband disagrees. Yes, it was cruel to force him to watch the movie, but it was a borrowed rental from my mom that has to go back today.
We're up to my favorite SGA episode, Common Ground, wherein we meet Todd for the 1st time and Sheppard is captured by the Genii.
Also I had a dream that we were in another civil war. I was in the middle of the woods, completely unarmed. My friend who looked an awful lot like Teyla Emmagan was killed. I was injured. And then the war was over and everyone was gone. Oh and my side lost. Then I woke up to my dog jumping up on the bed to say good morning--after he'd rolled in poop. I hate waking up that way.
The CSI Miami Finale was entitled "Going Ballastic" LOLL

ETA CSI Miami - The reason it bothers me so bad is that I have a gigantic hero complex. Most characters that I like are heroes in one way or another. Or else they are the ultimate bad guy who forces the hero to develop. (I do stray from the stereotype from time to time though.) I always imagined that when Horatio got shot, he would jump in front of a bullet to save someone. He's the savior of the city, invincible to death threats/attempts, champion of the underdog and guardian of innocence. So why would the writers just let him get shot? That's why it bothers me. He wasn't protecting anyone when he got shot. He was just standing around in an ambush. Now later, it will probably come back around that he was standing there to protect someone and he did in fact take a bullet for someone. Still after 6 seasons of not being shot, this is what we get? To say I was let down is an understatement.
