3rd Grade Revisited

When I was in the 3rd grade, we read Bridge to Terabithia. All that I really remembered about the book was running fast and a very sad ending. I didn't go see the movie in the theatre. I really wanted to reread the book especially since I remembered a terribly sad ending existed. I never did reread the book though. And when Christmas rolled around I needed a list of movies I wanted, I'd read a very good review of the movie so I put it on the list. Still I didn't watch it, remembering slightly more details about the sad ending. Finally last night, I thought I was in a pretty good mood to watch it.

I was right. Terribly sad movie. I will probably never watch it again. I can't imagine seeing that at the movies. I'm sure everyone was sniffling. Terribly sad. QQ

In other interesting tidbits of information, our "Party" channel plays really old music. I don't see how it can call itself a party channel. Maybe for 40 somethings.

Negative. In the theater people were all "what the hell? The commericals said this would be a fantasy movie." Only I cried.

Yeah, that's what the reviews were saying on Netflix. I can't believe you were the only one that cried. I was all sobbing. :(

Also I can't believe we kept saying Not the Creek. Of course it was the Creek--Evan was Pacey, the affluent tho not misfit son while Myron was Dawson the artsy BFF. I can't believe I didn't see that sooner. Maybe I was just too close.

There were people who'd come into my work complaining about that movie and telling people not to see it. WTF!

You always said it was the creek. I was the one insisting that it wasn't.

Not to see it? Awww that is too harsh. The only reason I don't ever want to see it again is because it is just so freaking sad! I was utterly depressed last night. Jess' whole life was just sad.

Yeah, but I kept insisting that it WAS the Creek because Myron was obviously going to steal Maeve away in a Pacey move. Can you believe that was 4 years ago?!?!

BTW It was SO the Creek.
