Emails of Awesomeness and being ill!
Sunday, August 19th, 2007 01:55 pmWell let's start with the bad news because everyone starts with the bad news. That way you can end with the good news. Of course, in every cartoon I've ever watched where there's good news and there's bad news, they always lie that there is a good news. So it goes "Do you want the good news or the bad news?" "Well I'll take the bad news first." "Ok the bad news is that we are doomed." "And the good news?" "I lied. There is no good news." Luckily, there actually is good news!
So I've been sick the past couple of days. I missed work yesterday so there goes 10 hours worth of pay. That's almost half my paycheck, but I just wasn't going to be able to sit there for 10 hours unable to breathe, coughing and sneezing. So I stayed home and I think it worked out well for me! I woke up this morning and I am not congested. Huzzah! Too bad though, I'd love to play hooky and do some more WoWing.
I have a renewed urge to level. And oddly, it has nothing to do with the announced expansion due out some time in nebulous future of 2008. I think it has more to do with ... well the Cam Clarke expansion. And also the realization that I only have one level 70 and I've been playing since the game was released. This is a sad statistic for me. So it is my new goal to level all of my toons to 70 before the expansion. At which time, I will be getting a Death Knight who will most likely be a blood elf. Or should I say a Cam Elf.
So my good news, apart from not waking up feeling ill, just tired (which is odd since I slept for 10 hours ish), is that I sent an email to Cam Clarke last weekish and I got a response today. I had kind of given up of a response honestly and I woke up to check my email expecting a response from someone else and there it was. Or as they say in WoW "Thar it wuz." I was a bit funny in it the email. I didn't see why a fanmail should be a serious thing full of freaky adulation. Instead I made a thing of awesomeness. Choosing that word as my theme. And today? The payoff! Hehe I got an email response thanking for my "email of awesomeness!" So Huzzah x 2! I win at the intarweb! So... /gquit

Date: 2007-09-04 06:46 am (UTC)Gnomes. They are so creepy. lol I am, of course, addicted to Blood Elves. For the above mentioned reasons of Cam Clarkeness. I can't wait to send off for my autographed photo!
Guild drama is so annoying. We transferred servers a few months ago and I still don't really consider the new guild home, nor have I really made any friends. The guild is mostly either nubsters or children. Not in the typical, nub guild style, I'd rate them about a B- rather than a D or F. But it still is annoying.
Good luck with your new gnome! Sometimes playing a lowbie brings the fun back into the game.
