basildestinySo help me. Seriously. I need help! Sigh. My ships are failing me. So I've resorted to reading ALL fan fiction on FF.net that is flying my banners. Even the really bad ones. Mostly I'm reading Horatio/Calleigh. Since they decided to run that ship aground yesterday in the finale... yet again, I might add. I think they run aground every year because they know it is how things ought to be, but it would mean Calleigh leaving the department and no one, me included, wants to see Calleigh go.
I've read a few Sparky fluff fics. Such wholesome stuff that fluff. Oh and Sparky is Stargate Atlantis. My ship that they didn't exactly run around, but that they've been sailing in shallow waters. Weir and Sheppard btw.
I read a really good angst HC fic. And I'm listening to all those sad love songs. Yes, I'm trying to get inspired to write. Of course, I'm one of those people who needs someone to play off of. Hence my dabbling in roleplays. It's easier to get the plots flowing when you have someone else expecting a plot. But I don't want to join a CSI:M roleplay. Yawnsville for real. Maybe if all of my friends watched and adored the show, it would be different. But I'm snooty and like playing with certain people only.
So you'd think I'd be dusting off my RP hat and jumping right back into the HP one. But my HP inspiration has gone away. I don't understand it. I have so much that I want to play with Evan Rosier. But he's gone. HE doesn't want to play.
I may give it a go to write about my WoW characters. My friend has written about hers. Her warlock in particular has an amazing backstory. But I guess I get bored writing about myself. It used to be the basis of all of my fic. My Basil/Till fic. ROFLcopter. And yet again, that was playing off of a friend. My best work always involves a peer writer.
Maybe I need to look into LJ communities and find a writing partner.
