Worship and Corgi Tales
Sunday, March 25th, 2007 01:06 amGood service today. Talked about giving all you have. Kind of weird taken out of context or to a non-believer, I suppose. But it makes perfect sense to me. Why give your all to a hobby or to work, but not to worshipping God the one who makes all possible?
I really like our pastor. He's a very smart guy. And very humble too. Very down to earth and the first to admit that he makes mistakes.
Went to the dog park today. I went to meet up with my Corgi friend, Kathy. She has a red and white Corgi names Jax or Jackson. He's half brother to Tucker. They have the same daddy. She just recently got a puppy named Bear. Bear is also Tucker's half brother. They have the same mommy. She said Bear wasn't coming today because he just got his shots this past week, but they brought him anyway and carried him around. So I got to hold the new baby. He's a real cutie. He'll be back next week and he'll get to play so I'm excited to see what Tucker thinks of the new baby.
While we were there, I turned around and saw a dog that looked like Jax. Only he was wearing a different collar. Turns out it was another Immer Essen puppy! Her name is Franny. When we went to get Tucker there were three puppies left. Two females and a male. One female was from Tucker's litter and one was from another litter born at the same time. We took home Tucker. If Tucker had still been there, Ann would have taken him home instead and named him Brodey. Instead Ann got Maggie. She thought about adopting a red and white puppy, but she decided that she didn't want another handful after owning a German Short-haired pointer. And then later on after Ann left, someone else came out and adopted the red and white female puppy.
Well that puppy's name is Franny. She's the result of a Xoot/Llewy breeding. That's Jax's parents. This dog looked like Jax because she's his full sister! Not only that, but she's the last puppy, which was reputed to be a handful by the breeder. Which means I've met all the people who showed up at Immer Essen Farm on October 4th to bring home a baby.
Long day though. I'm exhausted. Too bad I didn't really do anything at all of import.
Back to leveling my hunter. I have a 25 hunter, rogue, paladin, and druid.

Date: 2007-03-26 10:06 pm (UTC)I have three. Two Cardigan Welsh Corgis who are brother and sister from the same litter. And a male Pembroke who I talk about a lot in this entry. He's a sweetie.
My husband is the German Shepherd guy. Not that I have anything against them. I really love German Shepherds too. I can't wait until we get another one. We've been in a mourning period after suddenly and unexpectedly losing our buddy, Riker, last year.
I'll friend you back.
Oh and I don't know who made that video, but it was posted on corgilove so I just had to put it in my info. Hopefully whoever uploaded it/made it won't mind me spreading the corgi love.

I love all breeds. I don't know if I have a favorite breed. But I do have favorite dogs. :D
