I've been trying to come up with a reason to post today. I didn't want to give a boring blathering post today. Something meaty or in-joke-y.

So I was listening to my work playlist on my Ipod and I noticed a song. It's called Special and it's by Joybox. I was reminded of who gave me this song and how long ago it's been. And yet here is the song on my playlist for work. It's a fun song. What can I say?

Well looking it that song, I was reminded of Rammstein. A heavy influence in my life at the same time that I was listening to this one song by Joybox. So I go through the Ipod and highlight songs by Rammstein. I haven't uploaded all of my albums yet so alas, I don't have the entire collection, but I have the usual suspects: Mutter, Ich Will, Seemann. Sadly I lack Speiluhr. I'm not sure how that song got procluded. Alas in my list is the unusual suspects: Wut Will Nicht Sterben and a Rein Raus "Demo" entitled "Paul Sings." I even have the Smurfs version. It makes me giggle at the silliness and fun times of trying to figure out how this obvious fake Rammstein clip would fit into our comic book view of the group.

I listened to Wut Will Nicht Sterben about five times before finally allowing the Ipod to go to the next song. I always grin like a fool when Till rasps out "Rrrrrammstein." The live version of Seemann just ended, along with visions of Flake in a life raft. Now I'm on the album version. The one with the word and inexplicable women in the video. The guitars build in the song and all I envision is Till headbanging. I'm tempted to pull out the DVD and watch the live concert again. Such good times watching the video.

And while I'm talking about my work playlist, I called it "WoW." I also listen to this list when I'm playing the game. Other songs which have made the overplay WoW playlist include: The Little Nemo Theme Remixed, Beck - Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime, Gran Turion - Moments with You, A Flock of Seagulls - Space Age Love Song, Jamiroquai - Seven Days in Sunny June, Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc, John Reuben w/ Tobymac - God Is Love, John Mayer Trio - Vultures, Paul Simon - Father and Daughter, Bing Crosby - Happy Holidays, Ted Raimi as Jace performing Dancing in the Moonlight (my most played song on the Ipod!!), Fall Out Boy - Sugar, We're Goin Down, DJ Maj(spelling?) - Love (So Beautiful), Micheal W Smith - Love Me Good, Billy Idol - White Wedding, and some other songs for 52 in all.

Thanks to all who have gotten me hooked on songs!

Yeah, your heart and my back.

My quintessential MMORPG song is Strays by Jane's Addiction. Someone should make a WoW or EQ video out of it, if there isn't one already.
