It's Friday!
Friday, October 7th, 2005 03:00 amAnswer this or no more entries from me! And no, that's not a promise. Unless you want me to post and then it is.
Advent Children totally rocked! Matthew and I thoroughly enjoyed that Mr.
tamadar. I never had the opportunity to play FF7, but all of my high school gamer geek friends did. I remember the sorrow when the character bit the dust. They were so into the game that when FF8 came out, 4 discs or not, I was playing that sucka! Anyway, I'm all for more FF based movies. REAL FF based movies. None of this, "I'm almost Sandra Bullock, but psyche not really."
Looks like I'll be seeing Serenity. I'm sure I will enjoy it. And it's all part of being a "Sci-Fi" wife. Or a "Sci-Fi" fiancee. I enjoy Sci-Fi, but I'm more of the fantasy genre and he's more of the space genre. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith worked out well for us. That opening battle scene was spectular! Oh! And someone also loaned us "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." That'll be good.
This weekend is finalizing the menu for the reception. We'll be taking some pictures for my mom so she can decorate the place. I don't know when she'll be able to go check out the church.
I'm listening to some NSync goodness right now. It all started when
crystakitty posted about them. I don't even remember what about exactly. Then I remembered the joys of the guys and the fun I had making fun of their dorkitude. We even found ourselves in a boy band conversation at work the other day!
My sister turned 15 and my brother 23 this week. Same day as
halogirl8! I got the Marine a nice Ariel birthday card. It has lots of glitter and a pink envelope and says something along the lines of "Happy 3rd Birthday!" It's fun to pick on your brother.
Speaking of brothers, Matt got freaked out in the Wal-Mart parking lot. We pulled up into a space and he was freaking out, staring in rear-view mirror with something akin to wary, focused anger. Turns out his brother was "following" us. I've seen his brother twice! Only once in which we both spoke to each other. I saw him on the job the other time and he was too busy/didn't recognize me.
My mom has taken the rest of the week and most of next week off. Wish I could take some time off, but I always end up disappointing myself when I do that when my brother's in town so it's probably for that best.
We booked our honeymoon site! I'm really excited and ready for my vacation/wedding/honeymoon. We're not ready for it to be tomorrow, but that'd be nice. Finally got all of the invitations out last week. Other than the one that's going to Germany, but I haven't had a chance to really sit down and print another envelope out! I should have done that earlier this evening, but as they say hindsight is 20/20. So my apologies,
darlita. I will be sending one out to you soon. I'm sure you're busy enjoying the east coast anyway.
Finally, I'm thinking I need an NSync icon. Something funny and goofy and NSyncy. With a 100 icons, there's always room for Jello!
~Bye, bye, bye *stomp, stomp*
