Some Praise

I've been reading on www.family.org about typical Christian male attitudes and male attitudes in general.

I've decided that Matthew is weird. It's a joke between he and I to which he always says "Yes, but you like my weirdness." And that's very true. I do like his weirdness. I do like the fact that I can rely on him NOT to be like the majority of the men described on that website. Sure he has some of the qualities, but the majority of them he does not.

I'm glad that his job doesn't give him definition (anymore). I'm glad that he can be romantic and more romantic than I. I'm glad that he is in touch with his emotions.

Generally speaking, I'm glad God sent him to me and me to him.

Chris is like that. He's not like any guy I've ever dated.

A girl I work with said to me today, "you and your boyfriend never have problems. That's so nice". Ugh, so sad! She thinks it's normal to have a daily fight with her boyfriend.

That's sooo sad! I'm glad to hear you guys don't fight! Good stuff. We have arguments every now and then, but I think it's a lot of added stress from saving for the wedding. Things will settle down soon.

Everyone argues once in a while, but this coworker of mine has fights over the phone. One time he flipped when she threatened to break up with him and he told her that he would come down to the office and kill her. :) Those crazy love birds!
