It's Official

Picture-y goodness to ensure...

I am officially engaged now! YAY! Even through the bronchitis and sinus pressure I am excited! Already showed the ring to my mom. It's beautiful, but then I already knew what it would look like since I picked it out. We picked up the rings (wedding and engagement) last Friday and I've known it was here the whole time. But Matt wanted me to have a story to tell and I'm glad that he did. It's just been difficult to know and NOT be able to say anything.

So here's the story:
We went to Whitestone for a lovely dinner. It didn't rain today and it wasn't scorchingly hot. Before dinner, we took a lovely carriage ride around the grounds. Our buggy driver wasn't very talkative, but who cares? The view was awesome! Then in for dinner. We had a lovely view, but my medication wound up making me a little bit dizzy. Still it was very pretty. And there were a dozen roses on our table from Matthew. So cute! Dinner took a while, but after dinner we went outside to enjoy the view. And he proposed in the gazebo.

Once again, I am officially engaged! Wedding to ensure in October. We're thinking October 4th... ;) What do you October 4th babies think?
