A lovely day!

I was almost late to church. I almost let myself believe I had something more important to do than give praise and worship to my creator. I'm glad I made it though. It was, as always, a great experience and a great reminder of God's love. I really love this man. He's not perfect and never has been perfect. But he's incredibly talented, spreads God's love and God's will so well and just really helps me on a weekly basis with his relevant sermons. And I need a reminder quite often that God is love. I get so down with everything on a day to day basis. And trying to discern His will, my will, and the devil's will. Then I fail miserably at trying to figure it all out and then I'm flailing around and then I trip and fall. But I'm designed to be that way. I need to be reminded that God is love and that he will love me even if I fail. All I have to do is confess my sins to Him and all is forgiven. Of course I may still have consequences to reap for my actions, but that's my own fault.

We had a great service and I'm always glad of my time spent in my Father's house.

And yet another reminder to myself. In the meantime, and as we wait for God Himself to show up, let's demonstrate to a watching world that our calling is to show love, justice, and mercy to all for whom Christ died.

And then for the most part, I relaxed for the rest of the day. I've listened to some music, as usual. I finally figured out on Friday who sings that song talking about diving in that I like so much. I was excited to find out it was Steven Curtis Chapman since I've always really liked that guy. I bought a new devotional bible based on prayer. I hope it will help me out in that area since I need a lot of work there. I think I'm doing better than last week, but I've been much more reliable with it in the past. I went to lunch with my mom and sister. And interceded for my mom. She has high blood pressure and I think she forgets sometimes. She doesn't need to stress herself out so much. I talked to Matt for a little while. I found a great deal on a computer chair. This chair is so amazingly comfortable and blue to boot! And it was on sale. We've been talking about getting a new computer for a while, but hadn't really found one that I liked that was affordable. I walked into Staples and low and behold! They were having a sale on computer chairs. Talk about your coincidences. I'm glad He has a sense of humor. But there I found this chair for almost half as much as I thought I was going to pay. It's so exciting and yet it's just a computer!

For the rest of the night, I plan on cooking some dinner and playing some WoW. Hopefully I'll get some cleaning done. And of course, I have a computer chair to put together. Plus I need to finally hook my hard drive up to the main computer. I've had it hooked to the laptop which isn't very useful since the hard drive is in the living room and the laptop has been in the computer room. It's a little difficult to get files off as you could imagine.

Just waiting for mom to get back from her small group
