This should be an interesting experiment. I have close to 300 CDs, probably 10 gb of MP3s, a subscription to Napster and I'm an addict of launch.com and Digitally Imported. So my music is all over the place and as a result I had been putting this survey off, but here we go! I'll go ahead and do it.

Well for starters I had been listening to Digitally Imported yesterday and when I loaded all of my MP3s, I started playing Altitude - Tears in the Rain which is an MP3 that I have.

1. Loreena McKennitt - The Mummer's Dance
I really miss this artist. It makes me want to pull out all of the Celtic music that I have. I am a bit of a celtophile. *cough*HoratioCaine*cough*
1a. Then one of my .wav files of Kojiro from Pokemon. It's in Japanese. It's the episode in which they're on the boat and it's sinking and he grabs her and begs her not to leave him and she smacks him. Or at least that's the American translation of it. Don't know if that's exactly how it was untranslated.
2. Naoki Featuring Paula Terry - Memories This is a DDR song! Whee! I have a bunch of those. It makes me miss the old DDRMax2 (6th Mix) in the mall. It's an Extreme now.
2a. Now it's a Joxer .wav from Xena. Ooo! He's angry and upset over having killed a guy. I miss that show.
2b. I'm not including this next song. It's Bob Schneider - Batman. It's one of those things that someone sent me. I can't say that I listen to this song.
3. Morrissey - November Spawned a Monster Not one of my all-time favorite Morrissey songs, but it's Morrissey and as I'm so fond of saying anything by Morrissey is good.
3a. A video of Clark Kent freestylin' (DDR again folks) to After the Game of Love. It's a Double Freestyle. I really like CK's style. Lil B is still my all time fave though.
4. Rob Zombie - Dragula How ironic, [livejournal.com profile] waking_epiphany! We were talking this weekend about the Zombie. This is probably my favorite Zombie. I find Rob to be kind of freaky and a bit too extreme. Also... House of 1,000 Corpses? What the hell was the guy thinking? Although the scene with Walt Goggins (which I won't ruin as I intend to torture at least one LJ friend with the movie in the future) was really beautiful. Too bad the movie continued for another hour after that. But I do enjoy the energy in his music.
4a. Another Xena .wav
4b. Ditto
5. Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting EVERYBODY WAS KUNG FIGHTING!! THOSE CATS WERE FAST AS LIGHTNING!!
5a. DDRChinoystylez freestyling t Let the Beat Hit 'Em. He's not a favorite or anything. Just a video I got from a tourney.
5b. More Xena wavs
6. JT PLayaz - Let's Get Down. DDR and not a favorite.
6a-c. Xena
6d. Another DDR Freestyler
6e. Xena
7. Smile.dk - Boys Another DDR song
8. Tatu - All The Things She Said "I'm in serious shit. I feel totally lost." But it was attack of the huge egos that broke the group up.
8a. Xena
9. Let's Groove DDR Remix I love dancing to this song. It's one of the first songs I could do on Heavy and it has the perfect blend of difficult steps with easy steps to make it so much fun every time. Plus Earth, Wind and Fire, foos!
9a. Safi Connection from the Exposure Festival. I would consider this one a song, except that it's really a 92 minute set from Safi Connection. It's the genre of Trance known as GOA-PSY. Goa as in Goa, India because it has those kinds of Indian (Eastern) chants and PSY standing for Psychedelic. Very cool stuff, usually used on those extremely trippy to the point of being scary scenes of movies.
9b. Bio's set from Exposure Fest. Sounds like Progressive Trance to me. Progressive means exactly what you'd think it means: It progresses and builds onto itself as it goes.
10. US Marine Corp Band - The Marines' Hymn This would be something I pulled off of my brother's hard drive when I cleaned the computer so we could sell it.
11. Youhei Shimizu - feeling of love. Yet another DDR song and another one that I wouldn't label as a favorite.
11a. Jo Jan freestylin' with a friend to the Paranoia Brothers (once again DDR)
12. The All-American Rejects - Swing, Swing Huzzah! I love The AARs! Nice lyrics.
12a. Hamsterhead and Penguin freestylin to Boom Boom Dollar
13. Dub I Dub AWWW! Classic DDR!! And I have the full song.
13a. WOOO! Blank and Jones The Mix Vol 1. Another 72 minute set. I love Blank and Jones.
14. Pulp Victim - The World '99 (Radio Cut) A very upbeat Trance mix
15. D - BE Lovin Yet another DDR song.
15a. Xena
16. Janet Jackson - All For You
16a. Hypnotikiz freestyling to Long Train Running. Apparently he was 1st place in this tournament. I'm not impressed by his moves.
16b. Sexy Planet. This is a legitimate song, but I don't want my list to be entirely made up of 90 second DDR songs.
17. Marce et Claude - Tremble Progressive trance and not a favorite. It takes too long to build into the song and then I don't really like that song.
17a. Elusive vs Stigma B2B's exposure fest. I never did listen to all of the sets I recorded from Exposure Fest. It was a day long fest that took over all 6 channels of DI and I was at work so I just recorded the channels that looked like they'd have DJs I'd want to hear and went to work. This isn't a set I've listened to, but I really like it. I'll have to remember to listen to it in the future. It's 89 minutes long. And it sounds like dark Trance.
17b. Somewhere Over The Rainbow the DDR trance track. This song is really weird. It's not Judy Garland and it' just the one line and then it goes into an interesting and slow beat. Weird song.
17c. Xena
17d. The entire movie of Pulp Fiction. Good movie!
17e. The Ballad of Joxer the Mighty as sung by...IDK. The Xena Chorus? Obviously from one of the soundtracks. I <3 Joxer
17f. Xena. I downloaded this for sounds for the computer, but I don't really use them. I should delete them.
17g. That's the Way '98. Yet another DDR song
18. Van Halen - Right Now
18a. Kojiro talking about Koiking. You shouldn't spend all of your money on a lame Pokemon.
18b-c. Xena
19. Aerosmith - Jaded
20. Morgana - Never Gonna Make It Another DDR song, but this is a favorite so it's going on the list. I love watching Lil B freestyle to this.
21. Jimmy Hill vs Sarah G - The Joint Track This is more a progressive beats song than progressive trance.
21a. Awesome! It's the video of Lil B freestylin to Never Gonna Make It! Probably my favorite freestyle that he does.
22. Daniel Lanois - The Maker From the Sling Blade Soundtrack
23. Captain Jack - Dream a Dream Another DDR song, but I like Captain Jack. He makes the list.
24. New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle Everyday my confusion grows! I love this song. And the more mellow version that Frente sang in the 90s.
25. Puhdys featuring Till Lindemann of Rammstein - Wut Will Nicht Sterben I love this song! The Puhdys have a very nice sound and with Till's deep voice it was even better. My favorite part of this song is when he sings "Rammstein."

Here's a picture I found at digitalblasphemy.com while listening to my music.

I got up at 5 am again this morning. I watched CSI: Miami from last night. I was so tired last night that I knew there was no way I was going to make it to 10 pm so I taped it. H was cute when he told Alexx he'd just have to find a reason to get a warrant and smiled and raised his eyebrows. Gah! I watched that about 3 or 4 times. It was just too funny and so un-H-like.

I don't like that Niki's computer is a POS. It makes me sad.

I still haven't written that entry about Florida. I will have to do that. And also write about why the Pet Psychic with Sonya makes me laugh.

Diet Pepsi, uh huh!
