Alas an update!
Thursday, August 19th, 2004 03:01 amWhen did I last write? It's probably been a while. I thought I'd go on a hiatus from AIM, but that lasted about 12 hours, I think. I've been playing WarCraft III: Frozen Throne. I'm nearly finished with the Blood Elf campaign in the Single Player version, but I realized that I'd missed some things by not saving the game. I had been playing and passing the levels and then quitting the game to do something and coming back to the campaign from the menu. I'd just chose the last unlocked level. Oops. So I'm going back to play a few levels over. The secret hero is really funny. Drunken Panda characters rule!
My nails have grown long so I cut the ones on my left hand, but not my right and now they are kind of achey. Sucktastic!
Jobs, jobs, jobs. I keep saying I'm going to go out this week and get applications and I have yet to do so. But it's ok because I'm going out tomorrow with a friend and we're going to a job fair.
Monday I went over to a friend's house and watched Kill Bill Volume 2 again. I don't know if it had the same effect or not because I wasn't really watched it that closely. Tuesday a friend came over here and we watched Spirited Away again. I love that movie so much. I don't really think that words exist to describe my thoughts on this movie. It's so beautiful. And I watched the specials and behind the scenes on it and one of the trailers had the phrase "There's a No Face in us all." I've been mulling that concept over. I really like that idea. Today I slept until 4 pm. I think it might have had something to do with the 4 hours of sleep I got the day before. Depression is a crappy thing to have, but I'm proactive about it and constantly trying to figure out what is getting me down. Talking to friends helps and venting my feelings helps.
I've been trying to catch up on my reading. I'm still very behind and haven't really read that much, but I'm going to keep at it. Also have a list of things to do tomorrow so no getting depressed and sleeping all day.
CSI: Miami still rules in my world! I love that show so much. Today is CSI (Las Vegas) and should be fun as long as there aren't any furries in it! Yikes! And soon there will be CSI: NY.
Sydney's been keeping up with me this week. We're getting along again. Getting along for me includes one teeny tiny detail: He has to think of me on his own. Which he does and I return the favor. Maybe I should be nicer, but I think he knows that I think about him. In September I'll be watching his dogs while his family visits his grandmother for her birthday. I think I'll take Spirited Away and watch some CSI: Miami too. My brother will also be in town that month and it will be Dante's sixth birthday as well. So it will be a busy week. I plan on having a job before my brother visits next.
It's also my mom's birthday in three days. I wish I had some money to get her something, but I don't so I guess that means I won't be logging on that day. Maybe I'll take her out of the house or something. She's been happier lately. I'm glad. When we're both depressed it sucks!
I can't think of great information or thoughts to impart at this moment, but I love you all so be well!

Date: 2004-08-20 06:42 pm (UTC);) Just kidding. I saw this notification was from Typact and I was like "That's totally weird that someone in one of my LJ communities has that username. Just like Typact." Haha! Glad to see it was you and you were writing in my personal LJ. I'll add you! Rock on!
