basildestiny: (Don't Look At Me!)

Sup mother truckers? Today's dream involved me giving birth to twins. A boy and a girl. They did not have names. Also the girl came out all weird. I don't know if it survived or not. Giving birth in my dream was way too easy. Not painful at all. Mostly just weird.

I'm sitting here staring at a blank window with really nothing coming to mind to write about. Oh I could write the truth and tell you what's really going on over there on this side of the monitor, but I just don't think people really want to know the truth. But the trouble is that I'm having problems coming up with an interesting make believe world. I think I could do it.

Yesterday was a fun fill day for me. It all started when my boyfriend called me on his way to work. He's so thoughtful. He realized that it had been several days since he'd called me--that I had been calling him a lot. He just called to tell me that he missed me and that hopefully this weekend he'd have some free time and maybe we could watch a movie at his place. That was so sweet!

Then I got up and cooked breakfast. I had pancakes, bacon, sausages, toast, grits, some melon, and a glass of OJ and water. I went out for a run around the block. It's such a beautiful neighborhood. I waved to several of my neighbors--all retirees who were doing lawn work. Enjoying their gardens or just keeping the lawn tidy. I just love jogging around the block. The breeze, the trees providing plenty of shade, not much traffic at all, friendly neighbors. It was great!

After my jog, I watched my favorite talk show. Typical trash, but still enjoyable because it pretends to have taste. I love that. In the middle of my show, I got a call from the temp agency! They've found a job for me. It's great. I cannot wait to start. I will be nice to finally have a job again.

When my show ended, I called up my best friend and we talked for a while before deciding to meet up for lunch. Since she has two little ones and another in school, I brought food over and we talked. We discussed what's going on in her love life, how fantastic mine is and how glad she is to finally hear that, of course there were the typical proddings for when will I start my own brood, we discussed the deeper meaning of life and politics. I helped her pick up her oldest son from school and then it was time for me to come home. I washed some dishes and vacuumed and then settled down for a late afternoon movie.

Soon it was dinnertime. And then it was time for my evening television: Law & Order until CSI: Miami. It was a satisfying day.

You're the boss of this thing.
