You call this news? So governor of California, The Governator, called Democratic legislators "girlie men" for holding up the budget by catering to special groups. Their response was to point out the importance of the special groups they were representing and give reasons why their interests needed to be addressed. No. Wait! They responded by saying that The Governator's choice of words were homophobic!

And then gave him a great big thumbs up for taking the attention away from the main issues, hoping that he would be able to counter their response with something just as innane and close to the issue.

ETA: I wish Michael Moore had time to talk about how we drug ourselves. You know... talked about what the drug industry got out of our paranoia, but it is a huge tangent. Just something that I was expecting when they cut to the ad. I thought the ad was for a prosac type drug. Wouldn't have fit, but something that I think we should talk about.
