Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 07:34 pmI found the most time consuming Podcast! It's the Best of YouTube Podcast. I wasted an hour and a half without even noticing it. Of course, once you get caught up, it's a really short podcast.
My brother-in-law loaned me his PSP and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core game. It is awesome! If all of the games are like FF7CC than I want a PSP. However, I think it's just the game that is making the console. The CGI is really nice! And I'm enjoying meeting Sephiroth so early in the game.
So randomly, we'll be watching tv or something and I'll say "I want a dog named..." and I'll say some character. Thus far, we will have dogs named:
Sephiroth
Kaneda/Tetsuo (these will have to be twin dogs)
Teyla
Kulya
Hiro
I think it will be most fun yelling "KULYA!" and also "KANEDA! TETSUO!" from the back porch. My Collie, if it is a girl, will be named Teyla. Sephiroth will be the name if it is a boy Collie.
Sometimes I want to name a dog John Sheppard. Especially since my husband wants to have a herd of German Shepherds at some point. But I think a dog named "John" is a little weird. Tucker's middle name is Sheppard though.
Also Kira is named after Major Kira from Deep Space Nine. Tucker is named after Trip on Star Trek Enterprise. Riker was obviously named after Commander Riker from STTNG. And Chakotay is named after Commander Chakotay from Star Trek Voyager. Poor Connor was named after Connor McLeod from Highlander. I thought it was fitting because they both have blue eyes and both have origins from the Highlands. Connor being a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. However, we have watched all of the old episodes of Stargate Atlantis and the actor who plays Tucker on Enterprise is the same actor who plays Michael. I haven't watched Enterprise yet, sadly; however, by watching the early SGA episodes I've now seen his name come up in the credits several times. Oddly enough his name is Connor Trinneer. I thought that was interesting and gives Connor a Trekkie name after all.
