Monday, May 19th, 2008 01:32 pmI was going to just give in and buy "The Call" by Regina Spektor. I like it, I've decided. I was ready to commit, but nooooo! It's only purchasable on Napster with the entire album also. WHY!? That is just so rude. I do not wish to own the entire album. I do not want to spend $9.99 on a soundtrack which has one or two songs I will like on it. That's 1-2 dollars, not 10 dollars!
Nothing wrong with instrumentals, but they are always such a toss up. You may have liked a piece that was played several times in the movie, but exists on the soundtrack as a 2 minute piece with a 3 minute prelude. As was the case with the LotR soundtrack for me.
ETA The soundtrack is only 7.99 on ITunes and 7.95 on Napster.
