Vacation

So after a 13 hour drive, we arrived. It started raining for the whole evening shortly after we got here.

Today we saw the Simpsons movie. I laughed in a few places, was offended in a few others, and nonplussed in yet others. Typical for the show and I think that was the goal. I did feel like the joke that was at the beginning of the movie "Why are we paying to watch a movie in the theatre when we can see the show for free on the tv?" Oh well. We're going to see Transformers again on Monday with my dad. It will be his birthday. I would much rather have seen Transformers than support Simpsons in anyway. Sigh. Alas. Muggles.

So HP news is exciting. I do hope the JK writes an encyclopedia. I'd love to fill in the little gaps in the stories. Like... did Gilderoy ever get out of the hospital? Well really did he ever remember who himself?

We went out for ice cream today. It was yummy, but I should have just gotten the smaller size. The big size was too much!

OH!!!!! And I went to Hot Topic today. We were wandering around the mall waiting for the movie to start and wandered into HT because it always has cool stuff from the 80s when I was growing up. And they have really cool HP jewelry. I got a DA necklace. So I can support my number 1 character as well as the good guys.

We also wandered over to Borders and I LOL'd outloud at some of the books. Namely the one that theorizes if Snape is good or bad. No point in buying that book. Why bother to speculate when you can read the answer for yourself in DH. Also DH was retailing at $35 with 30% which I thought was crazy! That's like $9 off? I got mine at Books-A-Million for $20 with tax!

Well I'm going to go play some WoW now. See ya suckas!
