Saturday!

Saturday is over? I can't believe it. I guess because it was more like a weekday for me since it is a weekday for Matthew.

Anywho! We, the dogs and I, went to the dog park again today. Much fun was had by all. There were lots of dogs there. Two white German Shepherds! I got some pictures of them. Two Dalmatians, though they left nearly as soon as we got there. Two large Greyhounds. Then Illiyana with Laurel and Clay, as we were all to meet up together! As they arrived so did another black and tan German Shepherd. And four Saint Bernards. Sadly there were no other corgis yet again.

Tucker ran around having fun. He fell into the lake and got wet. It was quite funny. He'd been running along the edge giving it the look like he might be interested in finding out what it was. Especially since all of the retreiver dogs just loved jumping into it. But he was quick to jump out of it once he realized it was wet. Kira bounced around like a rabbit, but not quite as much as she did yesterday. And Connor ventured out a little bit, but then went back to hiding behind me or this time under the bleachers.

I got home and checked Tucker's breeder's website. She usually posts updated pictures of the puppies on Fridays and there hadn't been an update. Well when I checked the site today, it was due to Tucker's momma giving birth to another litter. This time 7 puppies! The past two litters (neither from the same dog) were 6 puppy litters. Which if you're in the East Tennessee area and you are looking for a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy, I definitely recommend this breeder. These pups are amazing!

I noticed a new addition to the website, corgi play sessions! How fun! So one day the corgis might take over a dog park near you! Too bad I don't have more friends who a) live in the area and b) have dogs to bring to the dog park. Sadly the corgi communities have members spread all across the world.

In other news, my back still hurts. It's not as bad as yesterday. I soaked in a bath for a bit which helped, but then just made it worse when I got out. I was so relaxed that I wasn't prepared for the pain.

There's a Steve Irwin tribute shirt available at Hot Topic. And there's a pretty cool band on John Mayer's Myspace. He's "rented" out his fourth song slot to any "indie" band that he likes. A month at a time. He's not really charging the bands. He's picking his favorites.

Matt's going out of town next week for two days for a retreat with his team of supervisors from work. So he's got Sunday off. We're going to my mom's house. And we may try to get in the fun of Eranikus on WoW. The last day before the expansion. One of my friends is going to try standing in line at Wal-Mart to get a copy. He's much braver than I. But then, it wasn't really a question of if I would get a copy, just when. And with Matt being out of town, ordering online didn't seem so bad. Also we wanted collector's edition. I especially did since I hadn't pre-ordered last time, not thinking I would buy the game until after Christmas. Which is so funny since I had been planning on playing the game since the summer it was announced when Warcraft III came out. But I guess when I was unemployed, it wasn't something on the must have list like uh, food.

I've been watching Star Trek Voyager. It's Matt's favorite. I'm enjoying it. I don't know if it will be my favorite. Not because it's not written well or even because it isn't the best Star Trek. But mostly because DS9 is kind of... well, mine. And let me just say that the Delta Quadrant is really unstable. A lot of temporal anomolies.

Well I think I'm going to go either sort pictures or get some more done with my scrapbooking.
