Well let's see...

So I guess it's time for a post. For all of those folks who tell me they read my journal but don't comment. Or maybe for myself. Or maybe for those friends who do read my journal and do comment.

This song I'm listening to rocks! If only I could get a copy. It's not available on ITunes or Napster or anywhere else. Luckily I finally found it. I can stream it from his myspace. Boy does myspace keep coming up and yet I refuse to migrate to it. It's just too busy for me. I'll be an old fashioned plain Jane thanks! Until the day that I actually have to migrate. But the song was featured on an episode of CSI: Miami and the fans loved it. Everyone was posting everywhere "What was that song at the end?" I snuck and watched episode 23 last night when it aired. I haven't seen episode 22, but I watched the character important part at the end. And I noticed that James Remar is in it. He played an extremely likeable Rayden in Mortal Kombat II. I swore I wasn't going to like the Rayden because they were replacing Christopher Lambert. But when he shaves his hair off and is all bleach blonde and muscular and blue eyed and adorable... well I liked him.

Oh and along the lines of myspace, thanks for Crazy, Jamie! I love it!

Also loving a couple other songs. I saw them on WoW videos and it took a while to figure out the song. In particular, London Elektricity's I Remember the Future. Very catchy song and great for doing just about anything in WoW. Or cleaning house. Also have "Wander My Friends" from the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack. I LOVE this song. It's played at all of those really important parts in the show. It reminds me that no matter what happens, they are still just a bunch of folks lost in space trying to find their way to a home. Which really makes me want to catch up on my viewing of the show.

Also been watching a few SG Atlantis and I really need to catch up on SG1. They're all looking so old! I never got a chance to enjoy the characters long ago. I'm still a few episodes into the second season.

So I quit my job in April. Matt likes me staying at home. He likes having home cooked meals when he gets off work. He likes having the house cleaned. And I don't mind doing it.

The obvious things, I'm not pregnant. I'd tell you guys if I were. I just like staying home and we don't need money so badly. If God wants to send more money our way, we'll put it to good use. But I don't want to work just so we can get more stuff to take care of. I already have boxes and boxes of stuff to go through of my stuff. We've got a spare room which is completely unuseable because of stuff. And I have boxes to move over from my mom's house. Plenty of stuff. And I don't even have time to appreciate what I have now. I plan on going through stuff and getting rid of it. But I vaccuumed and carpet cleaner washed the whole house on Monday, then stayed up until 6 or 7 am for the past couple of nights playing WoW so I'm exhausted. It was my plan to do that today. I'll try to get around to the spare room so I can move stuff over on Wednesday, but if not, I'll just pack more stuff into that room and do some sorting later. At least the carpet looks nice.

ETA: Sorry for being a lurker to a lot of people, I really do read every personal journal which appears on my flist. The communities I moved to another journal so I wouldn't be cluttered from the stuff I really wanted to see.

And also I LOVE Spirited Away. That movie. It's just... yeah. Maybe it's like Rent for Maile?
