Jarhead

This is totally off the wall, but I wanted to say something anyway.

I never pictured Anthony Swofford as Jake Gyllenhaal. I've heard Jarhead and the whole time reading it, I never thought 'Donny Darko would be a good Swofford.' But then I never thought they'd really make the book into a movie. It's probably primed for a movie now what with all of the politics nowadays. It was be interesting to see November 4th. Not like I know anyone with that birthday...

I just don't think Gyllenhaal is quite Marine. But maybe the group that my brother brings home aren't quite a thorough representation of all Marines.
