The Fourth

Everyone else has one, why not me?

I worked on Sunday to help a coworker out. That broke my three day weekend up, but I think it worked out better this way. Matt has to work on Sundays, but has Fridays off. And which day did I switch to have off? Why Friday of course! So three day weekend this weekend. Well Sunday went pretty well. We had a cookout at the church to celebrate and dedicate our second buildinh. I took a small nap between church and work and then it wasn't terribly busy the entire day like it has been for the past five months. But a coworker on my team was sick. She was coughing and hacking and sounding generally miserable. By the end of the day, I was feeling slightly miserable. I went home and drank a lot of orange juice.

I woke up on Monday with an itch in my throat and almost no energy. Matt wanted to go to the movies, but I was tired. We wound up going out to eat, which made me feel a lot better. And then hustled over to the movies. We saw Batman Begins which was very good. And then off to the Oak Ridge fireworks which weren't very impressive, but better than no fireworks at all. Took some Nyquil and went to bed quite early.

Woke up at almost one with an itchy throat, but will no sick days left, got up and got ready for work. Went to get some cereal and discovered what the ants had found on top of the refrigerator: the cereal. All cereal is now trash for ants have crawled inside.
