Animal Planet Terri Irwin
Last night was Sunday night which meant nothing on the television. We actually did an awesome job at keeping up with our shows this past week. Even going as far as adding a new show "Moonlight" to our list. We watched all 6 of the episodes that have aired. I'm enjoying it, but I don't know how much I will enjoy now having to wait a week in between episodes. That's the only thing that is annoying about watching shows as they air.

Anyway, we were watching CSI and had about 15 minutes after it ended before we were going to get some sleep. So Matt turns it to Animal Planet and there's Terri Irwin doing research work that she'd done the previous year with her husband, Steve. Oh man! I started crying again. I still can't really handle that. I just feel so bad for Bindi who is just so positive. And then poor Bob who looks just like his dad. And lastly for Terri who is trying just so hard, but is reminded of her husband constantly in everything that she does. It's just so terribly sad. And I don't know how to react except to be sad.

World of Warcraft
In the long epic story of WoW, I started playing in a guild called Mystic Legacy. It was a guild created by friends of my husband. It was my first guild and the guild in which I was a total nub, learning my class and just nubbing it up all around. Then we decided to give Horde a go because as alliance we could never get any PVP. So we rerolled on an RP-PVP server, had a blast, did loads of PVP... and then the stoopid PVP changed and it was silly to have rerolled Horde. Of course it was too late to go back Alliance anyway. We made our own guild, Wanted For Murder. Eventually PVP became boring and we'd seen everything we could 5-10 man. It was time to raid! So we left our guild behind for alts and joined Redoubt, the raiding guild that was just starting MC. Also the guild that felt druids were only good for healing. Ha! We farmed MC, ZG, AQ20 and started to head into BWL. We could never get the strat down and after spending weeks wiping in there, people started leaving for other horizons. We stuck it out because BC was quickly approaching. BC released, the Guild Leader, Raid Leader and Warlock Class Leader all rerolled paladins and powered them to 70. In the meantime, the other class leaders jumped into Karazhan and started hammering out strats. Karazhan sucked in the beginning and eventually I respecced feral so our group of 4 friends would have a built-in tank/healer combo with 2 dpsers.

But Redoubt was doomed. The GL and RL were burned out. So we started to look at other servers. Finally finding a guild that seemed like a good place to land, we talked with them for a while and eventually transferred over. Things went well for a bit. We put Karazhan on farm, moved on to Gruul nearly putting him on farm and then downed VR for the first time. But alas things within the guild were getting heated. Our friends were not welcomed to joined, people were gquitting right and left, officers were leaving and transferring, the guild leader promoted someone else as GL, said he was taking a long break, then came back and that GL said he was quitting and gave leadership back. Then one day the GL transferred servers. The officers attempted to rein things back in and refocus. We were doing so great after all, we'd just dropped VR. But another officer transferred and then another and so the officers decided to call it quits.

So Blood Reign came to an end. We were at a cross roads. Do we transfer again? Not everyone's timer is up. Do we try to find another guild on this new server? There was one other guild that was giving BR some competition for top spot on the server, but they didn't raid when many of us would be available. Finally we landed on the solution, we would start a guild up ourselves.

And there is where we are now. We can clear Kara easily with our top players and with a little focus, we can do it with our new members who need the gear. We've one shotted Gruul. We've one and two shotted VR. We're getting ready to put Zul'Aman into our rotation. We attempted Mag with 4 tanks and 4 locks.

We recently got the class leaders for the classes that we have in place. I am raid leading when the guild leader isn't. We have a website and a recruiter and a vent server. We are on our way.

Fall Shows
We're currently watching Heroes, CSI Miami, Criminal Minds, Life, Law and Order Criminal Intent, Moonlight, StarGate: Atlantis, and Smallville. Plus the Dog Whisperer.

Heroes did itself a disjustice last season by building and building and building then having a finale of awesome that gave viewers most of what they wanted. Now this season, it is back to the building, building, building. And it is tiring. If it weren't for my husband, I might have given up on the show already. I get tired of shows like that. The thing is... the show is awesome. I really do enjoy it. Even the parts where it spells out exactly what is happening on-screen. It's a comic, that's how they are. At least when they are bothering to tell you what is happening. Whenever I get a new corgi, I want to name one "Hiro" and another one "Kenzai." Or maybe I'll name my Australian Shepherd "Hiro."

Moonlight is awesome. A vampire detective show sounds totally lame. And I guess it is totally lame when you get into it. But it is the characters that pull it out. Also the vampire mythology is pretty cool. Mick St John is totally the worst vampire name I have ever heard and yet it works. It's like Highlander meets a vampire flick meets Smallville.

CSI Las Vegas is silly. I don't really like the Vegas one. As I've said over and over. I watch it simply to watch something CSI. (And I absolutely do not watch NY.) We watched the rerun from the 7th season called Ending Happy. That episode was just too funny. And of course it had Chrissy Seavers as a mistress of the night (lawl). She had to shed her little girl image.

Still reeling from the concert. I had a great time. Just wish we hadn't been squished in like sardines. And also wish that we had some friends who enjoyed music so we could have been shouting lyrics to each other. But meh, can't always get what you want, eh?

LAWLER! Here's the Jose Cuervo Commercial with Stark from Eureka in it.

Final Fantasy Coca-cola!

Just cuz Queen was such a great band!

I was going to link that C2 commercial with the Rolling Stones' song "You Can't Always Get What You Want," I think I watched this commercial a million times over the summer in the movie theatres, but as it turns out, this commercial does not actually exist in video form

Instead here is a link to prove it did exist.

And here's a video with the song in it.
