I spent the beginning of the day not wanting to get up. But alas my dog was lying on my head. Which was nice because it blocked out the light of the lamp. Still, it did make it difficult to breathe. I guess he took it personal when I told him last night that he wasn't my favorite dog anymore because he wouldn't let me pet him. I told him I was going to get a new dog that would become my favorite. I'm so mean sometimes. Of course, I was having a bad day.

Anyway, after I finally got up, I saw with Matt in my mom's office doing some refinancing. I hadn't been in her new office yet. It's really nice. She's found another job to apply so I'll start praying for that to work out. Matt thinks it would be something I might be interested in too. I think that'll be good. But my main plans are to be a stay at home mom for a while. Whenever the children start coming that is. I wouldn't mind doing a part time job when the kids aren't around, but honestly, when would I keep the house up? So I mostly plan on being a traditional mom. Until that point though, I'll be working so that we can save up. Maybe get Matthew his degree so that while he's working I can get my degree at home or something.

So I bought the new John Reuben CD. I'm not all that happy about it. I thought it had a song on it, but it turns out God is Love is on a much older album. So late night I looked everywhere online for a place I could buy just that song, but no use!

The plan was also to buy Tobymac's new CD Renovating Diverse City. I was really excited about this CD because first of all, I think Tobymac is awesome. He is truly blessed and on fire. I really liked Diverse City and have found that some of the remixes from his last album were better than the original. And I'd already heard the remix for "Burn For You" which I thought definitely was better than the original. But the store didn't have it!! The recording company didn't send the CDs! The order was lost or something happened and no CDs! Last night I listened to the 30 second blurbs that Napster had. I really wanted to buy it, but I wouldn't get the CD or the CD art and to be honest, I wanted that stuff.

Matt talked about going to see Toby in concert! I thought that was so adorable! How sweeet!! He doesn't even like music and he definitely doesn't like rap, but he was willing to drive to a Tobymac show. That was just so sweet.

Today though, I have the CD and I was right. This CD rocks! It takes the same songs that I've already heard and loved and made them better! Even songs that I was so-so on are now enjoyed on Renovating Diverse City.

Sadly, Matt has to work this weekend. But I'm going to go wedding dress shopping with his mom. I'm glad to be able to put some of this stress in someone else's hands. I know that I can count on her to help me find a dress or help me mark out places to go.

tonight is printing the invitations
