I am worth more than that!
Tuesday, May 24th, 2005 08:56 pmI'm tired of being stressed. I need to set goals for myself and strive to acheive them. So my first goal is to deal with this stress at work. I have cleaned up the small things that were bothering me with my home life. Feelings that I wasn't doing the right thing. But that's been fixed. And now I am 100% that work alone is what is causing my stress at work. So I'm going to deal with that. When my job is coming home with me on a nightly basis, then something is wrong. My job needs to stay at work otherwise my time off is not time off. So goal #1 is to deal with work.
Goal #2 is that I need to lose some weight! My body is in no shape whatsoever and I have a year or so to get into shape. So drastic changes need to be made. I am ready to stop drinking sweet tea. Baby steps work so much better for me. I am ready, but still not ready for that sweet and low change. Ick!
Goal #3 is that I need to set some more lifetime goals. I've always felt that lifetime goals were silly because they were goals of the culture. But I'm sure there are goals that I can make for myself. I'd really like to set the goal of hosting a small group. I think a small group would do wonders for me. I really like the idea of small groups going out and doing things together. I could invite many of my friends to this small group. Friends for whom I have concern, but want to feel welcome and not forced into anything.
Other than that, Matthew is awesome. I love him very much.
