The Shield and other random shit
Tuesday, March 23rd, 2004 11:35 pmI had a few interesting dreams last night. The first one involved Lem. I want to put this one into fiction format. The other one involved Gilderoy Lockhart and my job not sucking so badly.
Damn! The Shield rocked. Not as cool as my dream, but the new Decoy Team is sweet! I might give up my liking of the Strike Team if it weren't for Lem. And Mackie. I like that the writers stuck in an ass invader. I also enjoyed the old question: Who is Brian's father?
Well I got some good news this morning. I was supposed to be getting up and going to work. I was all set. I got up and was ready to go, but the phone rang. It was Leland. He gets relocated in May. He's been in Okinawa for two years now. So he was calling with his new assignment. He's been stationed in Camp Lejuene in North Carolina. In an infintry unit. This was not the news we wanted. This is not even close to what we wanted to hear. He's been in the corps for three years. He's got all kinds of training. Why is he in an infintry unit? I didn't go into work. I wanted to spend some time with my family. I wanted to make sure mom was alright and didn't sink into a depression as soon as she got home.
T says the baby is holding out on us. Who knows when he's coming. It doesn't look like he's ready yet though. Good news is that he is facing the correct way this time.
I'm going write to go write up my two dreams.
Write again soon unless I get stuck trying to write this entry and never do anything elseK/i>
