Obligatory Post

I haven't really had that much to say so far since getting back on Tuesday afternoon. We got back on Tuesday. It was cold in the house because he'd left the heat off while we were out of town since no one was staying in the house. So we got home, were cold, got under the blankets and fell asleep. Wednesday we played WoW allllll day (after getting the dog from his parents' house, of course). Yesterday we ate two Thanksgiving meals. And then... more WoW!
There have been many, many hints and hintings about how we need to produce grandkids soon. But alas, it did not happen on the honeymoon, you hinters.
We did see GoF opening night. I wasn't impressed. Dumbledore was creepy and weird. I regretted ever liking the guy, except for the fact that I say he's not canon. We may go see it again so I won't spend the entire time referencing it to the book and actually enjoy it this time!
The wedding went extremely well. About 10 people from my side who said they would be there didn't show up. But I think a lot of that had to do with my friend injuring himself so I wasn't that upset by it. And it enabled us to have plenty of food. I was so glad to hear so many people complimenting the food because when we had tasted them, I thought it was a little bland. It did taste wonderful when I got to eat my own plate so maybe I just needed to be hungry!
Plenty of people danced. And enjoyed themselves.
The honeymoon was fun. We rented a cabin in the mountains. No bears attacked us. And even though it was 40 degrees out, we still got into the hot tub! We weren't going to pass it up since we'd paid for it. The King size bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever! It felt like a rock. The Queen size was much better.
We had steaks at the Alamo which were yummy! And enjoyed Christmas at the Dixie Stampede. I really enjoyed the show. (And my husband likes musicals!) Oh, but my favorite part of the whole thing was his happy humming. It was nice to have him in a good mood after the stress of the wedding.
