Kerry Edwards 2004 the Sept 29th edition

Well I checked my email today and I found an email from the John Kerry campaign from yesterday. It suggested that people call volunteers in the swing states and ask them if they would be interested in canvassing this weekend. So I took up the challenge and contacted 20 people in the swing state of Ohio. I didn't get any positive answers, mostly left voicemails, but I did get a chance to talk to a few folks and make them feel a little more positively about their choice for President. It really makes people feel good to know that their candidate cares enough about their vote to have someone personally contact them to get involved. I really enjoyed doing it and hope to work on it again tomorrow.

I'm also hoping to attend a debate party tomorrow. I didn't realize that this one I responded to wasn't like most of the events which just lets you pick how many people hope to attend. I should have written something to the host. Oh well.

There's also a Kerry caravan this Saturday through Anderon County. I'm going to do that.
