It's Tuesday!
~Missed the last train home~
But before it's Tuesday, I have to sleep.
Took the puppy to the vet today. He got his distemper shot. And he'll be going back for another one in three weeks. He's a good puppy.
There was a pet festival that I wanted to go this past weekend. But I didn't want to take the puppy out and expose him to diseases to which he might not have resistance. It's probably a moot point since the neighbor's dogs have already visited with him. They aren't neutered so I'm not sure if they are up to date. And Samson was here within 24 hours of getting him. Samson is probably up to date on his vaccines, but he goes for walks so you never know what he's picked up. Not to mention I brought the puppy to the vet inside a carrier like the breeder said so he wouldn't get into anything on the floor in the waiting room. But we bring him back to the examination room and the vet tech puts him on the floor where he proceeds to sniff and lick stuff. So hopefully his mother's anti-bodies aren't interfering with his vaccinations.
Going to over to the inlaws' tomorrow. It's been two weeks and I'm looking forward to visiting. I wish our camera would arrive though. I'd love to try it out. It's a Sony Cybershot H5. It got good reviews and the test pictures looked nice. And it was within our price range. I'm sure we could have gotten better, but I'm still not working.
I get nervous about not working. Money is pretty tight. And my dream is to get a house with land so we can have a herd of dogs. But we aren't even moving toward that dream with me not working. We have enough to cover expenses, but that's it. We can pay the bills, but we're just getting by. Nothing really is being saved and debts aren't really being paid off. Or not at the rate I'd like. Still, I'm pretty stress free. I haven't been sick nearly as much as I had been while working. And I'm making progress with the house. And I cook our meals. We definitely need to get school finished.
