This is a problem

One thing that I noticed yesterday at the caravan/rally/convention/whatever you want to call it was that there were hardly any people there my age. There were about 5 young democrats still in high school and one girl who was probably my age. That's just pathetic. What are people my age doing? Could it be that they are all Republicans? They don't think their vote matters? They are all away at college? They were working? I don't know. I do know that my best friend was busy taking care of her kids, the youngest would not have enjoyed this event in the least since he's only 6 months old. Her husband was sleeping for work, I hope. And my other friend is chemically imbalanced and claims to not care whatsoever. I'm just curious what my generation is thinking and feeling this election year. At least half of my LJ friends list is comprised of internationals. Of the remaining friends, at least 25% of them are too young to vote. At least 4 or 5 friends are older than I am. So I'm not really getting a solid idea of how my generation feels this election year. And honestly I just don't get a chance to socialize with my age group anymore. I wish I did. I wish I knew more people my age that cared about this situation. Heck I wish I knew more people my age!

So...what is the pulse on my generation?
